Intumescent Putty

Intumescent putty is a new type of fire stopping system which is ideal for sealing around openings through which cables, pipes and conduits penetrate in electric power plants, electric substations, industrial buildings, high-rises and ships to prevent the spread of fire, smoke and hot gases.

Intumescent putty has such properties as good flexibility and adhesion, low smoke effluent, high fire resistant rating as well as easy to application. Its flexibility can accommodate substantial movement of service penetrations and can be easily removed and re-used. It can be used in conjunction with our other fire stopping series Fire Resistant Mortar and Intumescen Pillow.

Intumescent has been independently tested in accordance with Ga161-1997 Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Fire Stops and can provide up to 3 hours fire resistance.
